Whether you come to the showroom, or Ryan meets you in your home for a consultation, you're going to get a chance to spend a lot of time auditioning your new equipment. You're invited to bring in your own LPs or you can simply ask Ryan to stream your tunes. The speakers and electronics you'll find at Vassal won't be confined to the short, 5-song playlist you find at the big box stores. Additionally, when you're looking to build your home entertainment system, you're not only looking for electronics and speakers, you're looking for a theater designed to fit your vision. What is "High End"
|
High End is another way of saying "High Fidelity" or "HiFi."
Fidelity comes from the latin word, "Fidelis," which means, "Faithful." In other words, High End, High Fidelity, or HiFi means that the equipment is Highly Faithful to the sound it is reproducing. HIFi always operates with the intention of being true to the music. This quality of sound can come at a premium, but it can also be very affordable for those just entering into this world. (Ryan entered this world as teenager with a very limited budget) It's a matter of whether or not you know where to look . . . AND if you know which brands know HOW to compromise when the goal is to deliver quality at lower prices. When people ask me about the business and High End Audio, I ask them to think about a piano. When you hear a piano being played live in a concert hall, it sounds very different than listening to it on a stereo system. The goal of true High End components and loudspeakers is to recreate the live sound to the highest degree possible. The walls should sonically disappear and the piano should sonically enter the room. |
